Nine month checkup

Today was Remington's nine month checkup! I can't believe he's already nine months old! He now weighs 20 lbs 8 oz and is 29 inches long! The nurse put a urine bag on him to check for routine things. That was interesting....a little bag put over his penis and then tucked under his butt and the diaper put back on. She said it's easier for boys because the same bag is used for girls. They had to prick his finger to check his iron level. He didn't cry but was very interested in the silver shiny bandaid on his finger!!! Dr Katz checked him all out and Remington didn't like his ears being checked. He wrestled around and cried a little bit. Dr Katz recommended to start feeding Remington finger foods. Macaroni, mashed potatoes, pieces of hamburger, chicken, fish and turkey. Soft fruits, cerial. Good times.
