Stroller Tumble
It finally happened! Remington's first wound. I had gotten him out of the car and put him in the stroller to go for a walk. I had to go inside to change my shoes and go to the bathroom. I didn't want to leave him outside by himself so I lifted the stroller up on the deck (about 1 ft high). I opened the door to let the dogs out and Squirt jumped up to say hi to Remington. The stroller started rolling backwards. I was yelling and trying to grab the stroller to keep it from rolling off the deck. I didn't make it in time. The back wheel rolled off and the stroller flipped off the deck! Remington was obviously crying. I got him unhooked, picked him up and he stopped crying. No blood. I took him inside and checked him out. Only a scrape on the forehead. I started crying then. Just the emotion from the first wound. I BROKE THE BABY!! He was just fine. It scared the crap out of me and him. First of many!!!

O goodness. You must have been so scared. Good thing God made them so durable!

I'm sorry, but that's hysterical! He's a boy. Time to invest in ice packs. I'm to the point I hear a thump and simply listen for a blood-curdling scream. No scream. I go on... so sad...
