Our Last Day

Today was our last day. It was weird. I got to my desk, checked email and then went for my exit interview. After my interview, I went back and said a few goodbyes and see ya laters and left. It was so weird. I say in my car and cried for a few minutes before I left. I went and got coffee, picked up some flowers for Remington's teachers and then went to pick him up. I felt like I was in a time warp. Nothing seemed real.

I got to the daycare and each of the teachers said their goodbyes and gave Remington kisses and hugs. I was crying and they were crying. I would hate to see what it would have been like if he was there for years instead of just two months.

We met Craig, Terri and Brynmar for lunch. They couldn't believe how big he's gotten since they last seen him. Once again, I said my goodbyes and hugs and left. Very surreal. I'm sure it will take a lot of adjusting. I'm going to miss the people I work with. They are a great crew.
