T minus 40 weeks....a new way to count!

Today was the first doctor's appointment. First they confirmed the pregnancy with an internal ultra sound. We saw the little peanut in there. Nathan thought it was an intrusive procedure. I told him, "wait until we get to the other side." After that I got dressed again and waited to see Dr. Russell. During this wait, they told us our due date is October 12th. When we got to see Dr. Russell, she did a thorough exam....this is where the intrusive part really takes place. She said everything seems normal and that if I have any questions or concerns to not hesitate to call. Very exciting. Later that evening we went to small group and mentioned the doctor's appointment at the end very nonchalantly. Everyone was excited for us.
